We're looking for a reliable and hands-on Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our team. This role is primarily focused on servicing, repairs, and maintenance of domestic plumbing, heating and gas systems, with some installation work when needed.
You don’t need to be an expert in everything — if you’ve got solid experience and a can-do attitude, we’ll play to your strengths and provide training where needed. We’re after someone who’s happy to muck in and be part of a friendly, down-to-earth team.
Diagnose and repair faults in boilers, heating systems and gas appliances
Carry out general plumbing repairs: taps, toilets, pipework, showers, radiators, etc.
Complete landlord gas safety checks in line with current regulations
Service and maintain a variety of domestic gas appliances and heating systems
Support with installation work when required
Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent
Follow health and safety guidelines on all jobs
Take part in a 1-in-4 on-call rota for emergency out-of-hours jobs
Minimum 6 years’ hands-on experience in plumbing, heating and gas work
Valid Gas Safe qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1
Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
Able to work independently with strong problem-solving skills
Willing to muck in and take on a variety of tasks
Good communication and customer service skills
From £37,000 per year salary + Overtime
Company van provided — fully racked out with good van stock
4-day working week during summer (June to September)
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
